It was a beautiful morning and I couldn't have had a better family to photograph! These girls are sweet, adorable and have the most bubbly personalities :) I had a great time with all of you and hope you love the photos!

Love this little guy!! It is so fun to watch these kids grow up. I have been photographing this man since he was just a baby...wow where does the time go! This family was such fun to photograph! We had a beautiful morning & I couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people to spend it with :) I have to say these silly photos are some of my favorites....and we never would have made it through the session without them...lol. The last mini session of the season was given to the grandparents in exchange for help with our holiday photo ;) It was supposed to be WARM but what a surprise...the weather prediction was wrong and it was COLD!! We made it work and overall everyone was great :)

This family was wonderful and these kids were just the sweetest!! There were not many leaves left on the trees but wow the few we found were beautiful...It was chilly windy morning but we had a great time :)

I am bit behind these days but wanted to get these up (better late than not at all) right? ;) I have been friend with this new mama since we were kids so of course I was excited to take a few photos of her pregnant belly! But before I had time time to blog them it was time to welcome this amazing baby girl to the world. I had the privilege of attending her birth (no not as the photographer but as a support person for mama and baby) and wow it truly was an amazing experience. Little miss J really is the most delightful baby (although she wanted nothing to do with my camera) so we only snuck in a few photos during the visit...LOL! She just wanted to be snuggled while her mama and I chatted...thats okay J I will be back :) Love you both!!

It was so fun to photograph this wonderful family again! We were very lucky to have a nice (humid) morning for our session as it was supposed to be thunderstorms (but then again what's new here in Chicago) lol. Thanks for spending Father's Day morning with us and showing us such a cool park in the City :)

I was super excited to to hear that this mama and baby wanted a few surprise photos for daddy for Father's Day! We tried to schedule around a T-storm that was on the way but ended up right in the middle of it...lol! We decided to take cover in a coffee shop hoping the storm would pass quickly and it did :) It was so fun to hang out with you guys and M is just the sweetest baby ever. I hope you love the photos!

I was so excited for this shoot (you may remember his mama & daddy from here when I photographed their wedding). It was great to see this family again (I have taken their holiday photos for the past few years) and they are always such a delight! Our session happen to be on our first blizzard of the year so we had to move indoors...although we did sneak out for a few quick shots :) 

Another great holiday mini session on one of our last nice days (it was chilly) but not snowing...like it is now ;) It was great to meet you both and watch the love between a mama her son (I seem to be photographing lots of mommy's and their sons recently) I just love it!

I love this family and was so excited to shoot them again (this time with grandparents). It was a beautiful fall day and mom had the great idea to take out the bike...perfect activity for a 5 year old boy :) It was great to see you guys again and meet the grandparents!

This little guy was just 2 weeks and so sweet! He didn't sleep much but was very content when awake....what a delightful baby. It was great visiting & meeting little R :)

Congrats I am so happy for you both! The ceremony was beautiful and this last photo really captures it perfectly...it was intimate, powerful and you could feel the love in the room. We had the most beautiful evening in Chicago for our pre-wedding session! It was great to meet you both and I can't wait for your wedding next month :)

Wow it's hard to believe my baby is one! This past year has just went way to fast...but with that being said we have enjoyed every moment (well almost) ;) This baby has been such a joy to have around and really makes our family feel complete...I feel so blessed to have such an amazing family!

I am SUPER excited to show off the cover page of the 2011 Mothering Calendar....why? Maybe because the cover photo is from the home birth of my 3rd baby!! This is my favorite personal photo, it holds so much emotion and makes my uterus ache for another baby ;) It is also very special as my mom (also my assistant) took it. A huge thanks to my mom and my hubby who are always there to support me and to Mothering for publishing my photos!!

I have been dreaming of doing a belly shoot at this trail for two years and I finally had the chance a few weeks ago....it was perfect! Evelyn is just stunning and her dress and hat fit my vision so perfectly :) Thanks so much for coming out during this heat wave (I remember how miserable it is when pregnant)... I hope you love the photos as much as I do!

We met early morning but it was already HOT and BUGGY but the light was amazing!! Thanks Erin for putting up with the heat, bugs and my complaining ;) I hope you didn't leave with as many bug bites as I did (about 30 for me) yikes... You are stunning and I can't wait to meet your new little one :)

This mama was just glowing (oh how I miss that pregnant feeling)... We had a great time walking around town and then ending with a picnic (followed by a CRAZY storm) LOL!! It was great visiting and I can't wait to meet you new addition :)

The day started out with thunderstorms so we headed to the gym for the Pep Rally but as soon as it was over the sun came out and it was a perfect day for the Walkathon. It was amazing to see all the faculity, parents, volunteers and of course students so excited to run for our school! It was a great day and I am glad I was able to be a part of it :)

Finally I have a moment to post part 3 of the Moby shoot :) I LOVED doing this shoot everything from our location, models, babies, helpers & even the weather was perfect!! Thanks again to everyone involved I couldn't have done this alone ;)

Sweet baby C at just over 1 week was so so wide awake, alert and happy :) This family makes me feel so welcome and at home it makes our sessions such a delight! Thanks for sharing your Sunday morning with me.....I hope you love the photos!

Life with 3 kids is busy (obviously since I have totally neglected the blog these past 8 months), fun, lots of work, crazy at times, enjoyable, overwhelming and amazing! I will try to do better keeping up with the blog but I have been reminded that I will never look back and wish I spent more time blogging, editing, working, sewing or being away from my kids.....so I am just trying to enjoy every moment and sneak in all the other things when I get a second :)

I was so excited when I heard this family was expecting baby number 2 and honored they wanted me to come to the hospital to photograph some of his first moments :) It was awesome to see them again (just over a year ago I was in the same place photographing sweet baby M). Congrats again you guys have such a beautiful family!! I can't wait to see you guys again this weekend :)

This was my first time attending a birth and it was wonderful! Truly amazing in so many ways....amazing how strong our bodies & minds are, amazing to see the true love & concern of family, amazing to watch the midwives & doulas, & of course amazing to watch a perfect new life enter this world. Congratulations again to a wonderful family :)
